Disc No: DCCD 9111 Mogens Winkel Holm (1936-1999) occupies an important place in Danish music, especially because of the great variety of roles he played: originally an oboist, he was also choreographer, organizer in the Danish ISCM section, chairman of the Danish Composers' Society, and a member of countless boards and comittees. Mogens Winkel Holm's works indclude chamber music, music for orchestra. chamber operas, ballets etc. and earned him his position as one of Danish modernism's great individualists.
