Our second ‘Musical Kaleidoscope’ (the first is on GLCD 5139) also begins with a tune called Kaleidoscope, this time composed and conducted by that famous Dutch maestro Dolf van der Linden (1915-1999). He was the major figure in the Netherlands popular music field from the 1940s until the 1980s, and became one of the most respected conductors of the European Light Music scene.
