Philip Moore was born in 1943 in London, and has had a very distinguished career in Cathedral Music for many years, at Eton College, Canterbury Cathedral, Guildford Cathedral and now at York Minster, where his contributions to the traditions of great Cathedral music have been particularly admired. |
