Czeslaw Marek, who died in 1985 aged 94 was a Polish-born composer and pianist who settled in Switzerland where he became a noted figure as a composer and pedagogue. His compositions are dominated by his significant output of music for solo piano, and we are pleased to be able to offer these distinguished recordings of his complete music for this instrument, played by the excellent artist Marie-Catherine Girod.
