 | Alexei Volodin was born in 1977 in St. Petersburg, and began taking piano lessons there at the age of nine. A year later he moved to Moscow, where he studied first with I. Chaklina and later with T. Zelikman at the Gnessin Music School. In 1994 he enrolled in the master class of Professor Elisso Virsaladze at the Moscow Conservatoire. 2001/02 he studied at the Theo Lieven International Piano Foundation in Como. | |
