Disc No: GH 2333 Hans Schaeuble, a chemist’s son, was born on 31 May 1906 in Arosa. Already in his younger days, his main focus was on music. Eventually, the regular concerts played by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande under the baton of Ernest Ansermet – among others with works by Stravinsky, Debussy and Ravel-, were primarily the reason for his desire to dedicate himself entirely to music as a composer.
